Mask Playa De Tasartico
Mask Playa De Tasartico. Made of the Atlantic Ocean and the cliffs from Gran Canaria, Tasartico near La Aldea de San Nicolas. “Playa de Tarsartico”
“Try to understand your personal characteristic and emotions”
The series “Mask” is inspired by the Rorschach card, which is a psychological test for looking into the subconscious in the human mind.
Look at yourself, from the other side of the mask.
The way to Tarsartico

Follow the highway from Las Palmas at the east coast of Gran Canaria to the south, and the port Puerto de Mogán. Between Puerto de Mogán in the south east and the in the west is Puerto de La Aldea, is Tarsartico.
From Puerto de Mogán go by the country road to the main city Mogán.
From Mogán it go by winding roads through small villages, viewpoints and high cliffs and mountains. It is a beautiful and fun trip. One of the good places to stop is Los Azulejos De Veneguera (Rainbow Rock).
In the town of Tarsartico, you have to continue on a dirt road for approximately 5 km to the beach of Tarsartico, where my work is photographed for the “Mask” serie.
The beach of Tarsartico is very stony with large black stones and rocks in dark natural colors. At high tide, the waves hit hard to the cliffs and the water spray far up the beach and make a violent noise.
Between the rocks, arise at high tide, there are small lakes with small fish and a life of color.
At Tarsartico beach is Blue Ocean Camp.
Prepare your self for a challenge. Internet and mobile networks do not exist at Blue Ocean Camp.
This Camp brings people together, with dinning, games, stories and the fireplace in the big cave at the beach. Here you can create new friendships with people from countries you have never visited.
If you choose to stay here for a few days, you have to take a trip for approx. 12 km for using your mobile cell phone.
It’s a personal challenge to be alone in the nature and it is a good social experience in the Camp -here in the open nature with a starry sky, cicadas and goat bells at night.
